Through the Doors of Perception to Heaven via the Rose Way Meditation Ascend the sacred chakra stairwell develop psychic abilities spiritual consciousness intuition energy channeling and healing Dana Williams Todd Michael 9780979599569 Books Reviews

  • Let me start by saying, I have been meditating for 20 years now and I have traveled extensively and learned/practiced many techniques along the way. So it is hard to impress me with something "new". Believe me when I say This is something totally unique.

I’m going to confess that I haven’t completed the meditation process to the White Level. Each step of the Rose Way process offers me so much that I haven’t got to the end. Plus, I find that I can combine it with other things I’ve practiced, and those techniques are potentiated and I experience them so much more vividly. So I will be doing a follow-up review once I am done.

I think I know why this book has so few reviews those who try it like me are either too busy doing the techniques or are too amazed to remember to write one. Lol.

Every step of this technique is an enrichment to my overall practice. The opening and closing techniques in themselves are so valuable. If I’ve had an upsetting experience or am feeling a lot of anxiety, just by doing the opening exercises, and then closing, I find myself freshly aligned and in tune with my higher self, like I was taken off the board and then put back, in a different place, on a different square.

Usually, I would have to go to an expensive conference to learn a specialized and complex technique like this one. Yet with this book, even though the process is quite new and unusual, it isn’t hard, and the results are quick and simply wonderfully amazing.

Also, on another note, I hadn’t known I could work through the feet before (a basic part of this meditation technique), and now my feet, (which have been swollen from one too many high heels in my youth!), are so much better.
  • This is both a good primer for those yet unaccustomed to the discipline of meditation AND a refreshing take on a popular spiritual topic that "practiced" individuals will like; instead of being touchy-feely, the author describes the process, common issues and solutions, and uses simple (yet effective) imagery.

For "old hats" to meditation In the 20 or so years I've given over to mental disciplines, the strategies, goals, techniques, and "levels" expressed in this work really are unique. I found myself making notes about them, more so than the last 15 books I've purchased and practiced through. Chances are you'll find many "take-with-yous".

A small sticking point for me It makes strong claims of "quick" advancement (months instead of years), but as there is no way to prove one's own growth (with whom could you or I compare such subjective results?), the claims would be difficult to verify.

That said, the author spells out what to do, possible ways to do it, what to look for, and WHY the Rose Way process works. Give it a whirl.

    Chapter headings include
    1. Introducing the Rose Way meditation (RWM)
    2. An overview of the basics
    3. Preparing for the RWM
    4. The RWM up and down the chakras
    5. The level of the Rose
    6. The four higher levels
    7. Exercise to completely close the chakras
    8. Practicing the higher senses
    9. The Rose Way Meditation (enumerated without commentary )
    10. Who was Joe Kasperski (her teacher from whom she learned RWM)

I like it and am taking strides to add the RWM to my daily practices.
  • This book takes the reader through the process of learning the Rose Way Meditation (RWM), as taught to the author by her spiritual mentor, Joe Koperski. There is also a grounding meditation and some sensory exercises provided in the book. If you are not a regular meditator, I strongly suggest practicing the grounding meditation for a period of time, before applying the Rose Way meditation.

This is a spiritual book. The meditation facilitates a direct and intensive clearing by opening and closing of the chakras (or subtle body). With consistent practice, it results in a potent effect. I have also used the meditation in preparation for OBE's (out of body experiences), however I would note that with the resulting parasomatic transition (see Aardema's EIC for a description of this) into the out of body experience, I do not combine the Rose Way Meditation with my OBE preparation very often. The RWM itself takes me about 35 to 40 minutes to complete (on average), so it greatly lengthens my OBE preparation.

Whether you are religious or not, this book (and the Rose Way meditation itself) can be a useful tool.
  • If you are looking for a new and refreshing way to quickly make contact with your guides, increase your understanding of your spirituality and the spirit realm, or if you are new to the world of meditation, I highly recommend this priceless little book. Although I have read through all parts of this book, at least once, I am hardly through with this book. Dana Williams gradually teaches you all the parts of the Rose Way Meditation as she explains facets of spirituality so that by the time you complete the book, you have practised each part several times, and are ready to begin your spiritual journey, having met your guides and gained knowledge about your spiritual self. It does require some focus and practice, but this method is well worth the effort, from grounding to charging and closing the chakras, it is well written and easy to understand, without being over-simplistic. One of the best books I have read on meditation.
  • I have been exploring meditation and a friend recommended this book and another book by this author. Actually I read the other book first. Would highly recommend this as it offers a perspective on meditation I have not heard before. Will definitely explore it further. Has been a lot of information to consider.

For anyone seeking "spiritual information" this book is perfect. Well written, easy to read and fantastic understanding of meditation and energy.
  • I found the book easy to understand both in principle and in practice. Highly recommended for those who wish to increase their relationships with the higher realms as well as those who are just beginning to discover theirs.
